“Tenet” Betters Christopher Nolan’s Record and “After We Collided” Goes Down 76%

Christopher Nolan’s tenth feature film “Tenet” has surpassed the $885,000 mark on its eighth weekend at the box office. It has now assembled a cumulative/accumulated audience of around $53.8 million, and nearly 30% of that number is associated with IMAX, PLF, and Dolby Cinema. If you look at the statistics, “Tenet” has now bettered the record of another Christopher Nolan’s film. It is currently his best film as far as the numbers of cumulative/associated audiences are concerned. The Prestige had attained a cume (cumulative/associative audience) of around $53.1 million (if you consider inflation, then it is $73.8 million), and Tenet has bettered that. The Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale starrer film debuted at the box office with an opening of $14 million. Despite the low affluence attained by it, it is still regarded as one of Christopher Nolan’s well-crafted films.
